My apologies for that. But June 5th just became unreachable because of a tragic event that happened very recently. We will still do the best we can to get the game done as good and fast as possible!

I will use the overtime to improve the game further. And I’m not just talking about some lame balance adjustments! I’m currently adding complete new dialogue for all heroes throughout the game. This creates more depth and a different feel for the character you choose. Thanks to Fanotherpg for this suggestion!

Okay guys, put your excited-pants on. Ready? The testing goes very well and I got a ton of feedback so far. The last show-stoppers have been ironed out and the gameplay balance has reached a point where everyone is happy about it. Of course my testers still continue testing and I will continue improving the game.

So… what now? Ah yes, almost forgot.

Unfortunately, my computer blew up and the game is…… naah just kidding :)

As always, in the last minute an unexpected problem popped up that I can’t solve right now. This causes a slight delay. Sorry for that, I will send the email to all you testers as soon as the problem has been fixed!

Arcade Mode + Final Beta Test Begins this Weekend

As if the Infinity Mode wasn’t enough, I throw in a little bonus. When you’ve completed the game, an Arcade Mode will unlock. In this mode, you are fully loaded with weapons and armor and you can choose one of five stages to battle the infinite hordes of the undead to gain a high score!

ATTENTION!
All went well this week and I’ve completed almost everything that was left in the game. This means that the Final Beta will start this weekend! I don’t know if saturday or sunday – but just so you know ;)

So far I got around 7 testers. It’s not 10 people like I intended, but some testers I got are quite talented, so I think we will be fine. If you are NOT one of them already, feel free to join this testing elite and help me improve the game ^^

Infinity Mode

Just a quick update. I’ve thought about some kind of an infinity mode, that literally keeps on giving you new quests and locations to rescue survivors. Well, yesterday I’ve made it real. This means you will get new missions that randomly places a lost survivor anywhere in the game (of course with an accurate quest message for you to find his location) and generates a random reward for rescueing him. This means that if you like, you can play the game for as long as you like ;)

But this mode is only available after you’ve beaten the normal game at least one time.

Yes, I finally drew some new still images and made a small intro story ;)

End Boss ready + Final Beta Testing!

The last Boss of the game is complete! It was quite a big one if you excuse the pun here. But this means, the game is finished. You can play from start right till the end and every location is there :)

So why just 97% and not 100?
1. Still some things are missing like end credits etc.
2. Need people to do a beta test before it gets released!

Josh and I are doing everything in our power to make the game 100% complete as soon as possible. But before it can turn to 100%, I want the game to be tested before official release by at least 10 people. That means I need your help! If you are willing to help me improve the quality of the game, please leave a comment or write me an email.

What I want from beta testers:
- detailled reports
- critique about anything, whether it’s good or bad aspects of the game
- your opinion about anything you like, gameplay, flow, enemies, weapons, power-ups etc.
- tell me about bugs or things that bother you so I can see into it
- if possible with attached pictures!

The beta test will probably start NEXT WEEK(END?)! And it will take about 1 week or maybe longer if necessary!

The Main-Plot-ToDo-List™ is down to the last entry. The Final Boss of the game. It will take a little to make it, but I have it planned out already, which is always the hardest part. Well, for me at least. All of the music is gonna be ready in the next two weeks, so it all looks good for a release in May.

That brings me to the next topic: Final Beta!
I can’t say right now when exactly, but I have a final beta planned for a couple of people. Who these people are? Well, it could be you :) . Check back soon for more information about the planned final beta phase.
